Description

The Itqan series to teach Arabic to non-native speakers” teaches the basic skills, which are listening, speaking, reading, and writing, in addition to linguistic structure (syntax and morphology) in the form of linguistic patterns. The content is presented in accordance with the latest research on education, and it takes into consideration the students’ environment, providing Islamic Arabic as the target language environment. One of the strategies that the authors used is education through a variety of activities that revolve around vocabulary; structure; sentences; exciting games; interesting, useful, and strange stories; functional daily life conversations; and songs.

The fourth level consists of three books. The student’s book consists of twenty lessons, each including behavioral, emotional, and cognitive activities. The second book is the activities and exercises book, which also includes twenty lessons and aims to reinforce the content in the student’s book through the use of games and real-life situations. The third book is the teacher’s guide. The teacher’s guide presents instructions for teaching Arabic to children in general and teaching this series in particular. At the beginning of each lesson, the expected outcomes to be fulfilled are outlined, in addition to guidance on how to do the activities and present them to students.

Finally, we provided all of the answers to the activities in the student’s and activity books, using the same arrangement presented in the two previous books, so that teachers will find the answers of the first lesson in the student’s book, followed by the answers of the first lesson in the activity book , and so on to the end of the twentieth lesson. This guide is a helper and an instructor to the teacher. The guide is accompanied by a CD that contains the listening scripts for the lessons in the student’s book. The teacher’s guide is also recorded in it. We hope that the teachers who use this series stay in contact with us, so that we can continue to improve on it and enrich its upcoming prints.

- يبدأ الدليل بمقدّمة قصيرة تبيّن الأهداف التي يرمي إليها، لتعليم المهارات الأساسية الأربع: الاستماع، والمحادثة، والقراءة والكتابة.
ثمّ تأتي بعد ذلك مقدّمة طويلة تحت عنوان (بين يدي الدّليل) تعرض لجملة من القضايا أهمّها:
  • الأهداف العامّة لكتب هذا المستوى.
  • منهجيّة تأليف كتب المستوى الرّابع ليتبيّن المعلّم / المعلّمة وألياء الأمور والمربّون مكوّنات الكتب الثلاثة، وكيفية تأليفها، ومحاور الأنشطة المختلفة التي يتضمّنها كلّ منها.
  • أساليب تعليم المهارات المختلفة (الاستماع، والقراءة، والأناشيد، والتعبير...) إذ ضمّ الحديث تفصيلات مفيدة تعين المعلّمين وأولياء الأمور في طريقة تعليم هذه المهارات بعناية فائقة، وحسب الأسس السّليمة.
  • تقديم إرشادات واضحة مفصّلة في كيفية التعامل مع كلّ نشاط من أنشطة كتاب الطالب أوّلاً، ثمّ أنشطة كتاب التمارين والأنشطة ثانياً، لكلّ درس من الدّروس، وتقديم الإجابات السّليمة الصّحيحة.
  • تقديم عدد من الأنشطة الإضافية المقترحة (ممّا لم يرد في كتابي الطالب والتمارين والأنشطة) لتعزيز وترسيخ المهارات المختلفة في ذهن الطفل، ومساعدة المعلّم / المعلّمة، ووليّ الأمر في كيفية تدريسها، وتثبيت المطلوب في ذهن الطفل بطريقة ملائمة.
  • تقديم الإرشادات والأساليب اللازمة لتدريس النشيد الوارد في نهاية كلّ درس، ليتمكّن الأطفال من الاستمتاع بالنشيد، ويتأكّد المربّي من تحقيق الأهداف المنشودة.
